MAINTENANCE

 

If the pistol is loaded, unload the pistol by following the instructions of "unloading pistol". Do not begin cleaning and maintenance before ensuring the pistol is completely unloaded. The pistol must be maintained at least once a month or after every firing session.

 
 

1. DISMANTLING

Remove the magazine by pressing magazine release button. Press the disassembly latch release button which protrudes from the right side of the pistol with the index finger.

While you are pressing the button, rotate the disassembly latch on the left side of the frame with the thumb 90° clockwise. Drive the slide forward with barrel, locking block, recoil spring and recoil spring guide rod.

Slightly pressing recoil spring and spring guide forward, lift and take out the recoil spring and guide from the slide. Be careful about the recoil spring and guide are under tension. Press barrel locking block plunger and take out the barrel with locking block from the slide.

 
 

2.BARREL CLEANING AND LUBRICATING

Spray the supplied brush with good grade protective oil. Insert the brush into the barrel from muzzle and scrub the chamber and bore pretty good. Dry bore of the barrel with brush and a clean cotton cloth. Repeat this operation until the cloth takes out cleanly from barrel bore. Clean the barrel locking block with clear and soft cloth which sprayed with protective oil. If it is necessary you can apply oil lightly oil the inside of the barrel by passing through it a clean cotton patch soaked in protective oil.

3. SLIDE CLEANING AND LUBRICATING

Clean the slide with a clean cloth or brush soaked in protective oil, paying special attention to breech face and ejector, slide rails and breech face. Drop a few drops of oil around the ejector, firing pin block and safety lever axle to ensure oil penetration and leave it slightly oily.

4. RECOIL SPRING AND RECOIL SPRING GUIDE ROD LUBRICATING

Lightly oil recoil spring and spring guide with protective oil. After extensive use it might be necessary to clean with the supplied brush and oil.

5. FRAME CLEANING AND LUBRICATING

Clean all surfaces covered by gun powder residue and soil on the frame carefully with lightly oiled brush or a clean soft cloth. All moving parts such as magazine catch button, slide stop latch, trigger, hammer, disassembling latch should be lubricated and also the rails on the slide and frame must be lubricated lightly.

6. ASSEMBLING

Assemble the pistol following the disassembling procedure in reverse order. It is advisable to pay attention to following points.
Set safety / decocking lever on safe. The slide should rest perfectly flush against barrel and the ejector must settle in its groove in the barrel. The barrel locking block lugs should rest in their housing and the barrel locking block plunger should protrude from the barrel. The recoil spring guide head should lodge in the center of its groove in the locking block.
